Job Description

Lithic is hiring a Software Engineer for its Treasury team, a remote role building the mission-critical backend services that move money through the company’s card-issuing platform. The team owns initiatives from planning to launch, with a focus on the reliability and correctness of its ledger and orchestrated funds flows, and senior hires take the lead on architectural direction for the most complex, high-stakes systems. The work suits an engineer who is curious about both the business and the technology, learns complex systems in a structured way, and works with a high degree of autonomy; experience building distributed systems is expected at the senior level, and the stack is cloud-native, built on AWS services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda and Step Functions with Python. Prior fintech experience is not required.

The role is remote, but candidates must be located in the United States, Canada (Ontario or British Columbia), the Netherlands, Poland, or the Czech Republic. Employees in the New York City area work from the SoHo office three days a week. The annual US salary range is $160,000 to $200,000 plus equity. Lithic states that it does not offer visa sponsorship or assistance, so applicants should already be authorised to work in one of the listed locations. Applications are free through Lithic’s official Greenhouse page.
