Job Description

Deeside Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Practice Nurse to join its small, close-knit surgery team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary care. The post holder will support the delivery of essential primary care services, health promotion and disease prevention, including chronic disease management, immunisations and vaccinations, cervical screening, anticoagulation monitoring and long-term condition reviews. The role calls for safe, effective and compassionate patient care, delivered in line with infection prevention and control policies and safeguarding procedures, and for participation in clinical audits, quality improvement and incident reporting. Essential requirements are current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), experience in general practice, experience in long-term condition management, and training or experience in immunisations, cervical screening and chronic disease reviews. Knowledge of relevant primary care clinical systems and national guidelines is desirable. Job type: Permanent, Part-time. Location: 17-21 Chester Road East, Shotton, CH5 1QA, United Kingdom.
