Job Description
Directive Consulting is the leading B2B performance marketing agency that delivers real revenue, not just leads. Using Customer Generation, a marketing methodology developed by the company, Directive cuts through the noise to drive pipeline, fuel SQLs and scale brands that are serious about growth. From Paid Media and SEO/Content to CRO, RevOps and Go-To-Market Strategy, Directive builds marketing engines that win in SaaS and across B2B industries. The company moves fast, thinks boldly and hires people who challenge the status quo and push campaigns past what is expected. Directive is hiring a bold, strategic Programmatic Strategist who thrives in the fast-moving world of SaaS and B2B marketing and knows how to make a big impact with budgets and even bigger ideas.
The Programmatic Strategist is a crucial, client-facing role responsible for day-to-day management of Directive’s Programmatic clients, including campaign builds, optimisation and reporting across all Programmatic Channels such as Display, Native, Video and Audio, creating and managing custom client strategies and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include campaign management: strategy development in collaboration with internal teams to create comprehensive media strategies that align with client objectives, leveraging first-party and third-party data for precise audience targeting and segmentation, developing and implementing programmatic campaigns across various Demand-Side Platforms such as DV360, continuously monitoring and optimising campaigns to achieve performance and pacing goals, generating and analysing performance reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations, and quickly identifying and resolving issues related to campaign performance and delivery. The role also involves cross-functional coordination with creative, analytics and account teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on campaign performance and presenting campaign plans, performance reports and strategic recommendations.
Applicants should have 3+ years of proven experience in programmatic roles at publishers, advertising agencies or ad tech companies, with hands-on expertise in media buying, building and optimising campaigns in DSPs, with a preference for DV360, and a proven track record in programmatic media planning, buying and building measurement frameworks to evaluate impact. The role calls for a strong understanding of how programmatic and other channels, both paid and organic, fit together, experience successfully driving programmatic growth across clients in the B2B/SaaS landscape, strong cross-collaboration skills both within the organisation and externally, and solid analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset. The role has goals of 100% NSM attainment and a CSAT of 4.4+. Directive offers a set living wage, with the actual salary varying based on Directive’s compensation philosophy, medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance coverage including a 100% employer-paid plan, unlimited PTO with a 2-week minimum, paid company holidays, a traditional and Roth 401(k) with a 3% company match, an annual bonus based on tenure and an annual anniversary trip. This is a full-time remote role, with the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from a home office.
