Job Description

Sembol Construction is hiring a Junior HSE Engineer in Abu Dhabi for a remote project at Ghuwaifat – Al Sila, near the Saudi Arabian border, where the successful candidate must be comfortable working on-site. The role implements and monitors HSE policies, procedures and management systems under UAE regulations, conducts risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses, method statement reviews, site inspections and safety audits, supervises high-risk activities including excavation, confined space, work at height and lifting operations, and leads incident investigations and toolbox talks. Applicants need a relevant engineering or occupational health and safety degree or diploma, recognised HSE qualifications, and at least 5 years’ relevant HSE experience in large-scale UAE construction, including ground improvement and piling works.
