Job Description

Join us as a Security Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues. We’re looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You’ll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure. Our customers don’t wait. You’ll operate in a fast-paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed. Customer service is at the heart of the role. You’ll create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping with us, while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues. You’ll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you’ll play a key role in protecting the business. Being digitally confident is essential. You’ll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems. You’ll stay calm under pressure. Being a team player is crucial. Flexibility is vital. What we’re looking for: Previous security experience is preferred; a valid SIA licence; strong communication and interpersonal skills; a calm, confident and professional approach; a proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly; a genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe. All candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history within the UK.
