Job Description

The role is a 360 Head of HR to lead and manage the human resources function within this reputable financial services institute. This role will be based in Qatar, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on organisational success.

Key Responsibilities for the role will include:
Strategy:
* Lead HR initiatives to improve business performance.
* Strengthen line manager capabilities across the organisation.
* Ensure HR practices comply with local laws and promote fair treatment.
* Advise management on employee relations matters.
Process:
* Identify and develop talent pipelines, with a focus on diversity.
* Manage talent pool in line with group processes.
* Support compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
* Monitor market trends to adapt compensation policies.
* Benchmark compensation practices externally and adopt best practices.
* Manage compensation-related risks and policy compliance.
* Support performance management
People & Talent:
* Model leadership and promote organisational values.
* Ensure training and development for critical roles.
* Recruit and retain high-quality talent with succession planning.
* Review team structures and capacity.
* Set objectives and manage performance of direct reports.
Risk Management
* Monitor and ensure compliance with control standards.
* Escalate deficiencies and gaps in controls.
* Approve risk assessments and mitigation plans.
* Review and support risk acceptance requests.
* Monitor live risks and ensure mitigation actions are in place.
Governance:
* Provide unified leadership and governance across HR functions.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
* Uphold ethical standards and Group Code of Conduct.
* Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
* Promote fair outcomes, financial market integrity, and compliance.
* Identify and resolve risk and conduct issues collaboratively.

Requirements:
