Job Description

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada is hiring two Assistant United States Attorneys for its Criminal Division in Las Vegas. AUSAs prosecute federal criminal cases — investigating and trying matters involving federal offenses, working with federal, state and local law-enforcement agencies, and representing the United States in court. Applicants need a J.D. and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction; three or more years of post-J.D. legal experience is preferred, and selectees must reside in the district or within 25 miles of it.
