Job Description
Position Overview
On behalf of our client, a leading hard commodity company based in Fujairah, we are seeking an Accountant/ Finance Expert with experience in international finance operations. The selected professional will support all daily financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in accordance with corporate policies and international accounting standards.
This role requires precision, accountability, and a strong understanding of international financial practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage daily financial operations including payments, reconciliations, and cash management.
– Prepare and process banking transactions and related documentation.
– Maintain and monitor cash flow forecasts, ensuring proper liquidity planning.
– Assist in monthly and annual closings, ensuring accuracy of all accounting records and IFRS compliance.
– Coordinate with banks, auditors, and corporate offices on finance and audit matters.
– Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and reporting to ensure effective financial control.
– Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and internal control procedures.
– Participate in the implementation and optimization of ERP and finance systems.
– Prepare internal financial summaries and reports for management review.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA / CPA is an advantage).
– 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting within international corporate environments.
– Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and international accounting practices.
– Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Languages
– English: Fluent (required)
– Arabic: Advantageous
– Additional languages will be considered a plus.
