Eligible countries only: Egypt, India and Thailand. The GREAT Scholarships 2027 at UWE Bristol are offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign. UWE Bristol is offering three GREAT Scholarships, one for an eligible student from each of Egypt, India and Thailand, towards one-year postgraduate study in the UK.

Who is eligible

  • Citizen/passport holder of Egypt, India or Thailand — this requirement is stated prominently because only applicants from these countries are eligible for the UWE Bristol awards
  • Holding an unconditional offer for any postgraduate course at UWE Bristol
  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
  • Must not be a sponsored student or a recipient of another UWE Bristol tuition fee discount
  • Successful applicants must engage in ambassadorial responsibilities for UWE Bristol and the British Council

Compose a personal statement demonstrating eligibility for the scholarship (maximum word limit of 400 words, as stated on the official page) and submit the GREAT Scholarships 2027 application form on the official page by the deadline.
