Job Description

DP World is hiring a Technician – Reefer in Dubai to assist in the repair and maintenance of air-conditioning equipment and refrigeration plant and ensure its continuous maintenance. The technician carries out preventative maintenance duties related to reefer equipment, performs work according to specialist trade skills and training under the supervision of the A/C and Reefer Supervisor, receives instructions from supervisory staff to carry out repairs and maintenance according to the daily work programme, keeps supervisors informed of work progress, and builds knowledge to work across sections covering electrical and mechanical works. Requirements include proven experience as a refrigeration technician or in a similar role, a relevant technical certification or vocational training in refrigeration and air conditioning, strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, and the ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
