Job Description

ENGIE is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Centres) in Germany, based out of its Frankfurt or Düsseldorf offices, with Berlin also named in the listing. The role runs small engineering projects.

The position requires a diploma or degree (or equivalent), working towards Chartered Engineer status, and fluent German, ideally with professional English as well.

Key duties and requirements:
– Research, develop and design mechanical and electrical installations, systems, equipment and facilities
– Coordinate engineering project services
– Survey, test and report on existing installations
– Ensure calculations and drawings meet industry and legal standards
– Represent the company at technical meetings
– Validate input from Intermediate and Graduate Engineers
