Job Description

Saudi Aramco is hiring a Heterogeneous Catalysis Research Scientist for the Catalyst Center of Excellence at its Research & Development Center. The scientist leads catalyst development projects for refining, petrochemical and sustainability applications, covering catalyst design and evaluation, experimentation and screening using high-throughput research methods, statistical analysis of performance data, and advanced characterisation to understand structure-activity relationships, while supervising laboratory technicians and maintaining safe, high-quality lab operations. Results feed technical reports, presentations and patent applications. A master’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is required (PhD preferred), with at least ten years of relevant experience and hands-on high-throughput catalysis testing experience.
