Job Description

Saudi Aramco is hiring a Catalyst Development Expert for the Catalyst Center of Excellence at its Research & Development Center, which develops catalysts that convert oil and natural gas into higher-value fuels and chemicals, plus sustainability catalysts for CO2 utilisation, low-carbon fuels and hydrogen. The expert assesses technical and business opportunities, leads technology development projects from concept to catalyst design freeze, runs original short-term applied research on urgent and complex problems, develops experimental plans for in-house synthesis, characterisation and testing, mentors junior scientists and generates patent applications. A PhD with at least 16 years of professional experience, including five as a specialist in heterogeneous catalysis, and a publication and patent record are required.
