The Experienced Software Engineer will work on products including WooCommerce, the most popular and most flexible e-commerce platform on the web, Gutenberg, the block-level editor for WordPress with clean abstractions for users, and Tumblr, the microblogging social network where users create, share and follow what they love, with AI at the heart of many new product developments and powering a lot of day-to-day development workflows. Automattic works as a global and distributed workforce, with a unique way of working built around its creed, flexible work arrangements allowing team members to work when they feel best, and a culture that is kind to each other and to users, positive, supportive and inclusive. This is a full-time remote role, open worldwide. Salary range: $70,000-$170,000 USD. Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
