Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly measure, cut, and sew various fabrics like leather, vinyl, and cloth to precisely fit vehicle interiors, ensuring a flawless finish.
  • Carefully remove old upholstery, meticulously documenting the process to ensure accurate reassembly and minimize any damage to vehicle components.
  • Skillfully repair damaged upholstery, addressing tears, burns, and wear with precision to restore the original appearance and structural integrity.
  • Install new upholstery components, including seats, door panels, headliners, and carpets, ensuring a snug fit and professional appearance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of general knowledge and basic skills.
  • Holds a relevant vocational certificate in upholstery or a related field, showcasing formal training in the craft.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive upholstery, indicating practical expertise and familiarity with industry standards.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of various fabric types, their properties, and suitability for automotive applications.
