What it covers

• Valued at up to $15,000 (subject to funding approval), paid in lump sums of $7,500 in 6-monthly intervals.
• Can be used for tuition fees, textbooks, placement/internship costs, or study-related travel.
• Offered yearly through Australian Federal Government funds; if funding is not available in a given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Who is eligible

• Commencing or continuing full-time study at UniSC Fraser Coast or Gympie campus.
• Must complete the full program at one of the eligible campuses.
• Must maintain ongoing residency in a regional area for the duration of the program.
• Domestic or international students enrolled in an undergraduate degree or diploma program.
• Students who have completed any study at UniSC of the same or higher level as their current enrolled program are not eligible.
• International students who are student visa holders are eligible.
• Selection requires the Destination Australia Scholarship Application Form, including a personal statement demonstrating commitment to studying and supporting the regional community, evidence of academic merit if applicable, and other supporting documentation for income/equity considerations if applicable.
