Job Description

As a member of the Country Management Team, the Head of HR will be the interface between the business and HR and will be responsible for formulating and delivering the relevant HR/People agenda for Qatar, aligning to both the Group HR and Qatar strategic agendas.

Description
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to attract and maintain top talent.
* Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations
* Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture
* Lead performance management initiatives, including appraisals and development plans.
* Collaborate with leadership to provide guidance on organisational structure and workforce planning.
* Analyse HR metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement
* Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and fairness

Requirements:

Key prerequisites include:
* Qatari National
* Proven experience within the human resources function, ideally in the financial or professional services industry.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage HR teams effectively
* Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies at a senior level
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant academic qualifications in human resources or a related field
