Job Description

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education to join the team at Al Ain British Academy in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, with candidates able to start by January 2027. The school, located on Al Salam Street in Sarooj, Al Ain, has achieved outstanding levels of progress and attainment and offers a warm, friendly and supportive environment where pupils enjoy learning and achieving.

The role’s key task is to assist in the day-to-day running of the PE department, taking responsibility for administration and for maintaining equipment, resources and the learning environment. The teacher will support teaching and learning across the department, communicate with external agencies about fixtures and sports events, maintain the department booking sheet and contribute to school squad provision.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with a PGCE or other teaching qualification, and have a minimum of one to two years’ teaching experience, including previous experience working with students for whom Arabic is not their first language. A passion for teaching, a high level of professionalism and recent, consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities are also required. The salary package is described as competitive.
