Job Description
Jumeira University is hiring a Human Resources and Finance Director in Dubai to take overall responsibility for the university’s human resources function. The remit spans recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, personnel records, grievances, training and workforce development, along with administration of the visa process and compliance with UAE HR law.
Alongside the HR brief, the role is responsible for the university’s financial health and the administration of its resources, and prepares the annual HR plan, the organisation structure, the manpower plan and the budgets for HR operations and recruitment. Jumeira University is a private Dubai institute offering programmes in Business, Education, Health Science, and Islamic and Arabic Studies.
Key duties and requirements:
- Overall responsibility for the HR function: recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, personnel records, grievances, training and workforce development
- Administer the visa process and ensure compliance with UAE HR law
- Responsibility for the university’s financial health and administration of resources
- Prepare the annual HR plan, organisation structure and manpower plan
- Prepare the HR operations and recruitment budget
