Responsibilities – WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Key point of contact in the MEA Finance business performance team, working closely with the Senior Manager Business Performance and Projects MEA, Finance Director MEA, Managing Director MEA and Area Directors along with their commercial teams, focusing on forward-looking analysis, value-generating insights and performance reporting versus execution of commercial strategies
  • Enhance data-driven and data-informed decision-making by creating and/or augmenting reporting that will increase efficiency, accuracy, and scope and will be the benchmark for the business.
  • Be at the forefront of providing strategic analysis and practical direction MEA to ensure maximisation of brand value (gross profit) per overall strategy
  • Drive analytics and reviews of commercial forecast against market and brand trends, challenging commercial where necessary to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Assist and support Annual Planning, Business Reviews, and QBRs.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and ability to manage details yet see the bigger picture to ensure solution alignment
  • Strong contributor/supporter of business cycles: planning, budgeting, performance reviews, assessment of R&O, drivers & solutions
  • Continuously identify risks and opportunities by analysing industry trends to provide commercial insights to the broader organisation.
  • Takes lead support role in managing and executing ad-hoc projects
  • Become the subject matter expert for usage of internal/external data systems, including training on reporting cadence, tools, and solutions
  • Support senior leadership on key strategic decisions as a wider part of AMEA Finance
  • Be the agent of change to move the MEA team from intuitive to fact based, data driven decision making

  • Solid Financial Acumen, strong Analytical background, technical skills, data savvy, ability to execute strategies in market appropriately
  • Healthy internal & external working relationships, especially with Commercial teams, Distributor, and other Support teams
  • High comfort modelling and understanding large and complex data sets into useful information and insights
  • Good judgment and ability to manage details yet see the bigger picture to ensure solutions alignment (Win/Win Scenario)
  • Ability to understand and influence decision making, especially commercial decisions
  • Thought Leadership, Partnership, & Value Creation Mindset Mentality
  • Ability to balance sense of urgency / timeliness with data/facts, but able to drive to timely decisions efficiently
  • Strong Communication Skills – written, verbal, presentation
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals
  • Knowledge of building models and dashboards
