Job Description

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager someone who has experience in water treatment disinfection and chlorination.

Sales strategy and market expansion:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote water treatment products, especially in disinfection and chlorination systems.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, such as municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Understand local and international water treatment regulations to tailor solutions for compliance.

Technical knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of disinfection methods, including the use of chlorine and chlorination.
  • In-depth knowledge of electro chlorination technology (electrochemical chlorine generation) and its applications in water treatment.
  • Familiarity with various water treatment processes, such as reverse osmosis (RO), filtration, and chemical dosing systems.

Client relationship management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Understand client needs and develop custom solutions for water treatment issues.
  • Lead presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.

Negotiation and closing deals:

  • Conduct negotiations with both new and existing clients.
  • Prepare bids, quotations, and proposals while working to meet both budget and project timelines.
  • Close sales while managing customer expectations and contract terms.

Collaboration with engineering and technical teams:

  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to design and deliver the best possible solution.
  • Ensure timely installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of electro chlorination systems and disinfection products.

Market research and reporting:

  • Track market trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences and competitor products.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including forecasts and KPIs.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience in water treatment sales, particularly in disinfection, chlorination, and electro chlorination.
  • Technical background in chemical engineering, environmental science, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in understanding and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex solutions effectively.
  • Proven success in building relationships with clients and closing sales deals.
